Operating revenue for the 23 largest Canadian air carriers totalled $9.0 billion in the fourth quarter, up 3.4% compared with the same quarter of 2024.

In 2025, a total of 27.6 million road motor vehicles were registered in Canada, up 3.1% from the previous year. More than 9 in 10 vehicles (91.7%) were light-duty vehicles (LDVs), and 6.5% of this share was electric vehicles (EVs).
Among registered light-duty EVs, the US was the leading country of assembly, accounting for 35.6%, followed by Japan (20.8%) and Canada (14.9%). China (3.6%) ranked seventh, and more than 9 in 10 China-assembled EVs were battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
