N.B. will restrict the use of American goods and services

New Brunswick will restrict the use of American products by its suppliers in the wake of trade war escalations this week.

Starting October 1, Premier Susan Holt said the N.B. government will prohibit the use of American goods and services for contracts over $5 million.

About 90% of government’s procurement contracts would meet that bar, Holt said in a press conference.
