The U.S. kicks off G20 meetings today touting “energy abundance.”

The meetings gather delegations from the world’s largest economies and oil producers, including China, India, Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Canada.

The G20 meetings in Houston, Texas come as oil and gas prices surge as a result of the American war against Iran. The war continues to disrupt global fuel markets and is leaving some countries struggling to fill its gas storage facilities ahead of winter.
