Prime Minister Mark Carney held a media availability with accredited Canadian media on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City this afternoon.
At this press event, Prime Minister Carney committed $100 million in assistance to Palestinians, including $80 million in “humanitarian aid, to alleviate immediate human suffering and $20 million to support peace and security capacity.”
