Canada Investment Summit co-organizer Deborah Orida, CEO of the $321-billion Public Sector Pension Investment Board, mentioned the fund’s pledge last week to increase its Canadian investments from $72.4-billion to $100-billion in the next few years.

“Importantly, that is driven by not a government edict, but rather the investment opportunities that we’re seeing on the private side, including places like infrastructure,” she said at the Milken Institute’s event.
