Canada will invest $150 million into LawZero, a non-profit startup developing AI safeguards, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Evan Solomon announced.
The investment, alongside €100 million (C$160.4 million) from Germany, comes days after a dire warning from an outgoing Anthropic researcher that AI could ‘kill all humans’ by the end of the decade.
