Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney called for stronger ties with France in the face of new global threats.
France and Canada have tasked their space agencies and defence ministries to jointly develop space launch systems and ground reception facilities, PM Carney said.
Canada and France will start sharing space-launch systems and satellite data reception facilities.
“Only a few kilometres separate Canada and France at their closest point,” Mr. Carney said Sunday. “Our values are even closer.“
